Assign Program Coordinators
Program Coordinators will be able to contact all members (coaches, parents) for the Sections underneath their assignment. It's not unusual to have a Program Coordinator in charge of multiple programs. To assign a coordinator, click on the Edit link. Within the detailed page for the program, scroll down to the bottom of the page and assign the Program Coordinator as the 'Author' of the Program. Once you assign a program coordinator, you should create a home page for that program. The program coordinator can edit the page, so you don't have to. There are instructions for this on the individual program pages, when you assign the coordintors.
What Assignment Does
When you assign your coordinators, you grant them the ability to email their subordinate coaches, players, parents, and even the ability to add on to the programs home page. This is one of the most important benefits of the web site.
It's important to be in the right context on this page. To this point, you've already created your programs during season configuration on the Registration Server. Prior to taking any action on this page, you should have already loaded all of your fields of play (Review Fields), and established your schedules(Review Game Dates. Now we are almost ready to build our schedules, but because some players on travel teams, we need to designate which programs we are going to create schedules for, and which schedules they will run.
Remember, the system will only create a schedule for those Programs that are designated as build on the table below. You update the status by changing the default Building Schedule from No, to Yes on the drop downs below. Then you should then select the Schedule Type, from the list you created ealier while Reviewing Game Dates.
For the system to receive your changes you must select Update at the bottom of the page.
