Organizational Sections

Below you will find all the active sections for your organization created on the AdminSports management site and synchronized to your client site. Just to be clear, a section is a colletion of teams that fall under the Programs you created in the AdminSports Administration menu. After your team formation as you group your teams into playable groups you create Sections. The system inherits certain properties from the Programs and you can essentially consider a Section the Child of a Program.

If you believe that a section is missing, first synchronize the teams, and then examine your AdminSports Configuration Site to validate if it is present. Finally, contact your AdminSports account manager to resolve any discrepancies.

When and what do I do here?

Assign Section Coordinators

Section Coordinators will be able to contact all members (coaches, parents) for the Teams underneath their assignment. It's not unusual to have a Program Coordinator/Section Coordinator in charge of multiple programs and sections. To assign a coordinator, use the auto-complete text field and type the Section Coordinator's Name

Setting Game Start/Stop Time

You only need to set times for those Sections marked Yes under the Build column on the table below. Those marked No will not be built, and don't require any further entries.

You update the build status on the Review Programs page, changing the default Building Schedule from No to Yes. You should then select the Schedule Type. Once this is in place, you need to determine the standard START and STOP time for the games for that section (i.e. Girls/9 1/A Start 9:00 am - Stop 10:00 am, Girls/10 Start 10:30 am - Stop 11:30 am).

What is Duration?

A keystone to the scheduling module, we need to know how long will the teams be using the fields, from pre-game to end-game. This way, we reserve the field properly. Enter this value in minutes.
