Located in Wrentham,
Massachusetts (USA) in southern Norfolk County, our function is to
provide the children of our town with the opportunity to play the game
of soccer. WYS is a volunteer run organization dedicated to providing
the youth of Wrentham the opportunity to learn, play and appreciate the
game of soccer. WYS is committed to providing a soccer experience that
is fun and safe for players, coaches, referees and spectators.
We offer both
in-town and travel teams for boys and girls grade K - 8. The in-town
program covers the entire age group. The travel program offers U-10 and
U-12 (check
age eligibility) teams for
both boys and girls. Players wishing to play on travel teams in an age
group above U-12 (12 prior to 8/1) should contact
King Philip Soccer
Association (KPSA).
The
registration for the Spring 2012 travel season with Wrentham Youth Soccer is now
open! Our travel team rosters are due to BAYS by February 1st, so
our player registration deadline is January 20th. Please note that
WYS does not have an in-town soccer program in the spring but that players in
the second grade are allowed to play on U9 travel teams in the spring if they
wish. Don’t forget to order a travel uniform if you need one.
Please note that Wrentham Recreation has increased the field use fee from $40 to
$65 per season per player for all sports. This is reflected in the “Wrentham
Recreation User Fee” that you will see as part of your total costs.
When you first log into AdminSports and see your child listed you will note two
choices: Spring 2012 and Spring Clinic 2012. Spring 2012 is used to register
for the travel season. For the clinic we have again arranged for KP Varsity
Boys coach Kip Lewis to run a skills clinic for us, which has been a big help in
getting the kids ready for the Spring season and June placements for Fall
soccer. The details from our training coordinators are below:
